XL Airways Germany is a German airline based in Mörfelden near Frankfurt.
Overview
XL Airways Germany was founded in 1994 as Sabre Airlines. It was taken over in 2006 by Icelandic Avion Group and rebranded AGAIRCOM until 2007, when it was renamed XL Airways Germany as a subsidiary of the XL Leisure Group.
The airline has its operational base at Frankfurt International Airport and operates wet-lease for TUIfly and Air Pristina (among others) as well as charters for several leisure companies.
