A little about me...
While working for a large international cargo company, I began to realize that the most enjoyable aspect of my job was the layover. The problem was, I only had a short amount of time in each city, and I wanted to take full advantage of the restaurants, bars, and nightlife while I was there. I was constantly keeping little scraps of paper in my flight bag with the names of places that I had enjoyed on my last layover in each city. I was also hearing other pilots talk about the spots that they had found in their travels. It struck me that we needed a central spot for flight crews all over the world to post the little bits of information that they had stumbled upon, or the tips that had been passed down to them from senior crew members about crew-friendly establishments.
