Lufthansa Cargo was founded in 1994 as a subsidiary of Lufthansa to operate the cargo division of the airline.
It is one of the major players in the air cargo industry and a founding member of the WOW Alliance. Operating 19 MD-11F aircraft it also has access to the freight capacities of over 400 Lufthansa, Condor Flugdienst and Sun Express aircraft, giving the carrier an extremely comprehensive global network.
