Frankfurt-Hahn Airport

Frankfurt-Hahn Airport (IATA: HHN, ICAO: EDFH) is an airport located ca. 120km west of Frankfurt, Germany. It is served by a number of Low-Cost-Carriers and is a hub for Ryanair. It is not to be confused with Frankfurt International Airport proper.

HHN is located in a rural area and there are no motorways nearby. Access to the airport is via the federal road B50 from the motorway A61 at exit Rheinböllen. Driving time from is about 90mins from Frankfurt and 75mins from Cologne. There are large parking facilities on the grounds of the old Air Force base.

There are bus services to Frankfurt (via Frankfurt Airport), Heidelberg, Cologne, Mainz, Saarbrücken and Luxemburg as well as local bus services to towns nearby.
