Eurowings is a german regional airline operating on behalf of Lufthansa. It is part of the Lufthansa Regional Network.
Lufthansa recently bought out majority stakeholder Dr Albert Knauf and now owns 99.91% of the airline.

Germanwings, a german no-frills carrier, is completely owned by Eurowings (although again controlled by Lufthansa). Unlike its parent company Germanwings operates independently and does not feed Lufthansa hubs.
